DAOS API
Definition in file daos.h.
int daos_fini | ( | void | ) |
Finalize the DAOS library. Should be invoked only when daos_init() was previously successfully executed. An internal reference count is maintained by the library that will tear down the DAOS stack on the last call to daos_fini()
int daos_init | ( | void | ) |
Initialize the DAOS library. Should be invoked prior to any DAOS calls. Can be called multiple times.
int daos_reinit | ( | void | ) |
Reinitialize DAOS library after a fork call. For applications that initialize DAOS and then call fork without exec, some internal data structures must be reinitialized in the child process. It is recommended to call this function from a fork handler registered via pthread_atfork(). If any event queues were created prior to the fork call, those must be re-created in the child process.
